I only make this recipe now!!! Thank you, they are super moist, whether in a white wine cream sauce or a tomato sauce, it’s to die for.

Meatballs are not made with basil in the sauce, of course, added fresh at the end of cooking, but in the meatballs themselves, it's definitely parsley (the Italian variety, the broader, flatter leaves... more flavorful). At least, that's the case in Sicily, that's for sure. However, mint would make my grandmother sick ;) Maybe in Palermo, but not in Agrigento, mint!

Very different family recipe, a bit of breadcrumbs in the meat preparation. It's better when the meatballs have simmered in the tomato sauce for at least 2 hours.

Meatballs I really like this recipe My suggestion: Meatballs should be made with basil, not mint or parsley :-) If they are a bit dry, moisten with some milk or add the flesh of a tomato.

No basil, no red onion, but mint!!???? We're missing cilantro, and it's kefta anyway, at least for us, we don't do it like that, it's not Sicilian...
