Recipe for White Chocolate and Yogurt Cake

Ingredients
 1 Plain yogurt
 2 Large egg
 15 Sugar
 2 Flour
 5 Baking powder
 5 Oil
 100 White chocolate
 1 pinch Salt

In a mixing bowl, pour in the yogurt. Rinse the container so it can be used to measure the sugar and flour. Add the sugar to the yogurt and mix vigorously.

Add the eggs one by one. Then incorporate the sifted flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well. The dough should be firm enough to hold its shape and form a ribbon; add a tablespoon of flour if necessary.

Add the oil and mix gently. Preheat the oven to 180-200°C.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. In the latter case, stir constantly to prevent it from heating too much or burning. Pour it immediately into the batter and mix thoroughly.

To finish, generously butter a loaf pan (also dust it with flour, if necessary) and pour the mixture into it. Place in the oven and let bake for about 30 minutes (more or less depending on the oven). Check the doneness by inserting a toothpick into the cake.

    Very good recipe. I used semi-thick cream instead of the yogurt I didn't have and butter instead of oil. The cake is light and very good. The whole family enjoyed it! Thank you for this recipe.

    I must have made this cake 100 times and I still enjoy it just as much. You should reduce the amount of sugar because the chocolate is already quite sweet. I substitute the yogurt with heavy cream, and this cake has no rival among plain cake recipes.

    It's just so, so good. Instead of sugar, I used 3 packets of vanilla sugar. And instead of yogurt, I used a vanilla dessert cream. It's a quick and simple recipe. I recommend it, and the white chocolate version is just so, so good.

    Superb, it's the second time I've made it; the first time I added dark chocolate chips and almond powder and rum... A delight!

    I added 70g of almond flour and small pieces of milk chocolate before baking. I opted for small molds. A delight!
