Indulge in this delicious recipe for waffle sticks and homemade spread!
Roast the hazelnuts at 160°C for 15 minutes, then remove the skin by rubbing them in a kitchen towel.
Melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.
In a food processor equipped with a blade, blend your hazelnuts in several batches until you obtain a fairly liquid paste. Add the melted milk chocolate and the oil, blend again until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous mixture, set aside.
In a bowl, pour in the flour, egg yolks, sugar, and baking powder. Whisk everything together. Gradually add the plant-based milk while whisking to obtain a smooth batter.
Melt the butter and pour it into the container. Split the vanilla pod in half and add the seeds to the mixture. Whip the two egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the mixture.
Preheat the waffle maker. Pour half a ladle of batter and cook for about 4 minutes until achieving a nice color. Repeat the process to cook all the waffles.
To finish, cut the waffles into stick shapes. Serve the sticks with the milk chocolate and hazelnut spread.
