AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Today I propose a pasta dish that is very easy and quick to prepare. Especially if, like me, you use fresh tagliatelle. A simple family dish that pleases everyone, young and old. Perfect for an evening when you don’t have much time to cook.

Yields3 Servings
Prep Time10 minsCook Time15 minsTotal Time25 mins
Ingredients
300 fresh tagliatelle (basil for me)
 2 Olive oil
 1 Onion
 2 cloves Garlic
150 ham (in matchsticks for me)
 150 thick fresh cream
 50 grated parmesan
 Salt
 Pepper
Directions
1

Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions. Drain.

2

Prepare all the ingredients as the cooking will go quickly. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Cut the ham into matchsticks if it hasn't been done already.

3

Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring.

4

Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring constantly.

5

Add the ham, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another minute until the cheese melts, stirring. Reduce the heat slightly if needed.

6

Add the tagliatelle and cook for 2 minutes, mixing well to coat them, just long enough to heat them up.

7

To finish, serve immediately.
