Recipe for Puff Pastry Bites with Vanilla Cream

Craving a treat that is both crispy and creamy? Original and easy to make, you can't do better than these vanilla cones! These delicious flaky bites with vanilla cream are perfect for a snack or dessert. Easy to prepare, they combine the lightness of the pastry with a creamy mascarpone filling scented with delightful notes of vanilla.

For the cream
 150 Heavy cream
 4 Mascarpone
  vanilla sugar

Using a pastry wheel, cut strips of puff pastry about 2 cm wide and wrap them around cone-shaped molds. If unavailable, use aluminum foil that you have shaped into a cone beforehand.

Place the cones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (thermostat 6). Keep an eye on the cooking. They should be lightly golden.

To finish, take the cones out of the oven and let them cool before gently removing them from the molds. Prepare the cream: whip the liquid cream with the sugar using an electric mixer until you obtain whipped cream. Add the mascarpone and beat until you achieve a thick cream. Set aside in the refrigerator for about ten minutes. Using a pastry bag, fill the cones with the mascarpone cream.
