Pork belly in soy sauce, a recipe inspired by my travels in Asia.
Cut the meat into slices of 10/15 cm.
Prepare the marinade and add the meat. Mix well for 5 minutes to ensure it is tender during cooking and fully soaked. Let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour, making sure the pork shoulder is fully immersed in the marinade.
Take a grill pan and grill the meat for 10 minutes, turning the slices every minute for even cooking. Let rest while preparing the sauce.
In a wok, turn the heat to maximum, melt the butter and a drizzle of olive oil. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic cut into thin slices. Season with salt and pepper, and add the cornstarch. Stir for 5 minutes, browning everything.
Add the soy sauces and stir continuously with a wooden spoon. After 5 minutes, add the water and lower the heat. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
To finish, serve with fragrant white rice. Enjoy your meal!
