A recipe that is both healthy and delicious, perfect for starting the day off right: pear coconut porridge. Recipe and photo credit: Cuisine Moi Un Mouton / St-Mamet.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the oats, milk, pear juice, and vanilla. Cook for 5-6 minutes (depending on whether you want the oats to absorb all the liquid or not). Cook longer if necessary.
Add the honey, the almond butter, mix in the pears. Mix.
Serve in two bowls. Add half a pear cut on top of the coconut flakes and pecans.
To finish, enjoy hot!
