Today I offer you a very comforting dish, a pasta bake with cheese, lightly flavored with pesto. What could be better to please your family, especially the kids?
Cook the pasta al dente, according to the package instructions. Drain.
Preheat the oven to 200°C, static heat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the liquid cream, pesto, salt (not too much!), and pepper. Add the crumbled fresh goat cheese and feta. Mix to achieve a smooth texture.
Add the pasta and mix well to coat them.
Cut a ball of mozzarella into small pieces and mix it with the mixture.
Oil a baking dish (20 cm square for me) with olive oil.
Place the pasta and spread it evenly, smoothing the surface.
Cut the second ball of mozzarella into slices and place on top.
Bake and cook for about 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
To finish, serve immediately, decorated with basil leaves.
