Recipe for Mushroom Burgers in Tomato Sauce

AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Today I offer you a dish with ground beef patties. I cooked them in a tomato sauce with mushrooms and served them with peas. But a good homemade mashed potato would be great too. It's an easy dish to make, accessible to everyone and delicious. I used pre-made ground beef patties, but you can prepare them yourself if you wish.

Ingredients
 3 Sunflower oil
 1 Onion
 250 Button mushroom
 1 Tomato concentrate
 1 Flour
 300 Beef broth
 Salt
 Pepper
 1 Fresh parsley
Directions
1

Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the ground beef and brown on both sides until cooked (in two batches for me). Set aside on a plate.

2

In the skillet, add 2 tablespoons of oil and the chopped onion. Cook for 1 minute, stirring.

3

Add the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.

4

Add the tomato paste and mix well. Then do the same with the flour.

5

Gradually stir in the broth. Continue to cook for about 2 minutes, scraping the pan to mix in the juices, until the sauce thickens slightly. You can lower the heat a bit if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.

6

Add the ground meat, drizzle with sauce, and heat for 2 minutes.

7

To finish, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately, with the garnish of your choice (peas for me).
