A jam with holiday flavors.
Wash and dry the fruits. Cut them in half and remove the pit. Place them in the preserving pot with the sugar, star anise, and cinnamon stick. Let it sit overnight.
The next day, after thoroughly stirring the fruit and sugar mixture, cook over low heat until boiling. Then let it cook for 15 minutes.
Remove the fruits, take out the star anise and the cinnamon stick. Set aside. Continue cooking the syrup for another 10 minutes (to reach the desired consistency).
To finish, add the fruits at that moment. Bring to a boil and stop the cooking. Place the jam in jars.
