A recipe for gratin.
In 3 different dishes, layer the vegetables by alternating layers of potatoes with each person's favorite vegetable: potatoes/carrots or potatoes/tomatoes or potatoes/spinach. Between each layer, place strips of bacon.
Pour the cream, sprinkle with nutmeg and pepper to your liking.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F). For a more pronounced golden color, extend the cooking time for a few moments under the broiler. Serve hot.
