Here is a recipe to recycle stale bread in an original and delicious way! A change from the traditional French toast!

Ingredients
 2 whole eggs
 30 Flour
 100 grated cheese
 140 bacon lardons
 40 milk
 1 bunch of parsley
 Salt
 freshly ground pepper
 2 pinches Grated nutmeg
Directions
1

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Butter and lightly flour a loaf pan or terrine. Chop the parsley.

2

Crumble the bread into a mixing bowl, pour in the cold milk, and wait 20 minutes for the bread to soften well. Add the beaten eggs, mixing thoroughly. Then incorporate the flour, diced bacon, grated cheese, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper, and flavor with grated nutmeg, mixing well.

3

Pour the mixture into the mold, cover with aluminum foil or in the dish, cover with the lid. Slide into the oven for about 40 minutes. Check the cooking. The thin blade of a knife should come out dry.

4

To finish, it can be enjoyed hot, warm, or cold. Serve as a starter accompanied by a spicy sauce, a tomato sauce, or a seasonal salad. Ideal for appetizers cut into cubes or for a picnic.
