Here’s how to easily and quickly prepare the Ramadan bread according to a popular recipe. Both soft and crispy, this homemade Arabic bread is excellent for accompanying the starter and main dish of the Ramadan meal.
In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and milk. Knead well until you have a smooth dough ball. Cover with plastic wrap and a clean cloth, and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
Shape small balls of dough, oil them, and let rest for 30 minutes.
Oil the work surface and roll out each ball of dough to form a circle.
Fold the edges of the dough inward as shown in the picture.
Then fold again in the opposite direction.
To finish, place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with an egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 200°C.
