Preparation of the ingredients Roll out a puff pastry. Spread the filling: one spread on half of the pastry, and a second spread on the other half. Cover with the second puff pastry.
Assembly Cut out a triangle. Carefully remove the edges. Cut out the branches of the tree. Twist them. Score the trunk with the blade of a knife. Also cut strips from the removed dough scraps, and then twist them as well.
Cooking Brush a little milk on the tree and "stick" sesame seeds on the trunk and some sliced or crushed olives on the branches. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20 to 25 minutes.
