Cut off the beet greens and scrub the vegetables to remove any dirt.
Place them in a pot on coarse salt. Cover and cook in the oven at 160°C for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
At the end of the time, check the cooking with a knife. When the blade easily goes into the beet, it is done!
To finish, take the pot out of the oven and peel the beets. Cut them into slices to serve as a garnish or in a salad.
