Yields7 Servings
Prep Time30 minsCook Time40 minsTotal Time1 hr 10 mins
Meatballs
 400 Broccoli florets
 120 Breadcrumbs
 2 Egg
 1 Chopped onion
 2 cloves Chopped garlic
 1 Chopped chives
 ¼ Salt
 ¼ Pepper
Sauce
 150 Plain stirred yogurt
 ½ Lemon, zest and juice
 1 clove Chopped garlic
 2 Olive oil
 ½ Mustard
 Salt
 Pepper
 1 Chopped chives
Directions
1

Cook the broccoli in salted boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. It should be tender. Mine was frozen and thawed, so 5 minutes from the boil was enough. If it is raw, it will need to cook for 7-10 minutes.

2

Remove it and place it in a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes to stop the cooking and set the color. Then drain it and cut it into small pieces.

3

Preheat the oven to 200°C, static heat.

4

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the meatballs with a spoon until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

5

Form balls and place them on a tray lined with parchment paper. I made 28 balls.

6

Bake and cook for about 30 minutes or until their surface is slightly crispy and golden.

7

In the meantime, prepare the sauce. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow the flavors to blend well.

8

To finish, serve the meatballs hot or at room temperature, accompanied by the fresh sauce. You can find the detailed recipe on my blog, as well as plenty of other delicious recipes.
