I often make "one pot pasta," it's so easy to prepare and you can vary the ingredients infinitely, and it's always so tasty. Here, simply cherry tomatoes (the last from the garden!), fresh basil, onion, garlic, and sweet chili pepper.
Rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Peel and slice the onion and the clove of garlic. Rinse the basil. Slice the end of the sweet chili pepper (amount according to your taste).
In a large saucepan, place the pasta and all the ingredients. Add water and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally; there should be a bit of cooking liquid remaining, and the pasta should be "al dente."
Let it rest for 5 minutes and serve immediately with some grated parmesan.
To finish, my pot wasn't wide enough, so I had to break the pasta in half to ensure it was in contact with the water from the beginning of the cooking process.
