Mead is an ancient fermented beverage made from water and honey. For various ancient cultures, this drink had magical benefits. Today, mead is enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or mixed in cocktails. Fruits and spices can be added to the recipe. It’s quite easy!

Bottling Pour into a clean glass bottle and cover with a clean piece of fabric. Do not seal with a solid cork and do not fill the bottle to the rim as the beverage will ferment and the gases could cause the bottle to explode!

Fermentation Let it ferment for at least 2 months. The mead can be stored for several months and improves over time!
