Preheat your oven to 180 °C.
Start by cutting the bread in a grid pattern without cutting all the way through to the bottom. Stop about a good centimeter before the base of the bread.
Melt the butter.
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash and chop the parsley very finely. Mix them together in the melted butter. Season with salt and pepper, then add the chili pepper.
Distribute the mixture between the gaps of the bread. Make sure that the bread's crumb is soaked as evenly as possible.
Cut the cheese into thin slices and place them evenly between the gaps.
To finish, wrap your bread in aluminum foil and place it in the oven for 20 minutes. Serve while it's hot and the cheese is melting!
