Get ready for the spooky night of Halloween! For the meal, there's no need to complicate things; a simple customized rice pudding will look great on your Halloween table. At my place, we say it's the night when the departed family members return to their loved ones before heading into the cold of winter...
Cooking Rice Pudding
Pour the milk into a large pot. Split and scrape the vanilla bean and add it along with the cinnamon to the milk. Bring to a boil. When the milk boils, gradually add the rice, stir, then cover. Let it cook on low heat, stirring every 10 minutes, for 40 minutes. Pour the rice pudding into a bowl, add the sugar, and mix well. Pour the rice into small jars and let it cool.
Preparation Pour 250 ml of red fruit juice into a saucepan, mix with the agar agar and bring to a boil. Pour this mixture over the rice pudding. Let it cool: the preparation will gel upon contact with the cold. Fill the droppers with the remaining fruit juice. Insert them into the rice pudding before serving.
