You can also make this cake with pears or a mixture of apples and pears. This cake is very easy to make. You succeed every time.

For the Easter cake
 1 Apple
 3 Egg
 1 Plain yogurt
 3 Flour
 2 Sugar
 1 Vegetable oil
 1 Yeast
 1 pinch Salt
For the Easter nest topping
 300 Whipping cream
 30 Granulated sugar
 1 Vanilla sauce
 150 Roasted almond
 40 Dark chocolate
 Small chocolate eggs

Preparation the day before the yogurt cake with apple.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6). Grease a round cake pan. Peel the apples. Remove the core and seeds. Cut them into wedges and then into slices.

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Pour the yogurt into a mixing bowl, gradually adding the egg yolks, sugar, oil, flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt while mixing. Mix vigorously. Beat the egg whites and fold them in.

Pour half of the batter into the mold. Sprinkle with slices of apples. Add the remaining batter and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the mold while warm and let cool on a rack.

Whipped cream: whip the cream until stiff peaks form, adding the sugars and vanilla.

To finish, decorate the cake: cover the cake with whipped cream using a spatula, then create waves with a fork. Press the almonds at its base. Cut fresh fruits to fill the bottom of the nest. Shave chocolate into flakes to sprinkle over the nest. Finally, top it with chocolate eggs, candies...
