Serve this rice pudding with a seasonal fruit (here wild blueberries) and for more indulgence, add a fruit coulis or simply syrup if possible from the same fruit!

Bring the liter of milk to a boil with vanilla or any other spice of your choice (optional).
Lower the heat and add the unwashed rice. Stir and let it cook for about 40 minutes on low heat. Stir often to prevent sticking! At the end of cooking, add the sugar.
Pour into small glasses and add seasonal fruits and/or syrup or fruit puree for extra indulgence.
To finish, enjoy warm or cold.
