Mont d'Or is a cheese from the Haut-Jura that is sold either by the slice or in a wooden box. To make this baked cheese recipe with white wine, it is best to buy a cheese in a wooden box that can go straight into the oven. Serve with steamed potatoes and a nice platter of cold cuts, for example.
Leave the cheese in its cardboard box (or place it in a hollow dish that can hold it). Make a hole in the center of the cheese.
Pour the white wine into the hole.
To finish, place in the oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. The cheese should have melted.
