Discover this recipe for apple strudel, a dessert made with apples. Delicious served warm with whipped cream and rich chocolate, it pleases the whole family.

For the strudel dough
 300 Flour
 1 Egg
 30 Lukewarm water
 1 Oil
1 dash Vinegar (or lemon juice)
 1 pinch Salt
For the filling
 1 Apple
 1 Cinnamon
 50 Crushed almond or walnut
50 Dried raisin soaked in a cup of brandy or rum.
 120 Powdered sugar
 60 Butter
 3 Breadcrumbs
Directions
1

Dough preparation: Mix the egg, salt, oil, flour, water, and vinegar. When the mixture is smooth, form a ball and let it rest for 30 minutes under a cloth at room temperature.

2

Preparation of the apples. Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces in a bowl, add the raisins, almonds, cinnamon, and sugar, and mix well.

3

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to form a rectangle. This may not always be sufficient with a rolling pin as the dough is very elastic; you can instead take it all in your hands and stretch it by holding the edges. It should be very thin.

4

Assembly Brush the dough with melted butter using a pastry brush. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, fill with stuffing up to two-thirds full, then roll into a log and fold the ends. Brush the top with the remaining melted butter.

5

Cooking Bake at 200°C for 35 to 40 minutes (if the top becomes too brown, cover with aluminum foil). Dust with powdered sugar and serve hot.
