Prepare a fruity and indulgent dessert with this apple recipe. An original way to enhance apples, where the freshness of the fruit meets the sweetness of maple syrup and the delicate flavor of vanilla. Perfect for a delightful break at any time of the day!
Preparation the day before To start, peel one of the seven apples. Brush it with lemon juice. Then carefully wrap it in plastic wrap. Place it in the freezer until the next day.
Preparation of the syrup Before starting the cooking, preheat your oven to 160°C. In a saucepan, melt the butter with the maple syrup. Add the vanilla pod that you have previously split in half. Mix until you obtain a fragrant and velvety mixture.
Preparation of the apples Peel the other apples, cut them in half, and remove the seeds. Then, slice them thinly and place them at the bottom of a dish, pressing them down a little for an even distribution.
Oven Cooking
Add the butter/maple syrup mixture to all the apple slices. Then, place the dish in the oven for about 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes or so, make sure to regularly baste the apples to perfectly caramelize them and infuse them with flavor.
Finishing and tasting After cooling, gently grate the frozen apple over the candied apples to add a welcome touch of freshness. Enjoy this delicious apple dish without delay, for a moment of pure fruity and light happiness!
