A delicious and creamy drink, full of vitamins and minerals. To be used for making a blancmange, a clafoutis, or a panna cotta; or simply to drink: plain or mixed with fruits (strawberries, cherries, apricots, peaches, melon), this almond milk will enhance the flavor and texture of your smoothies and other cocktails.
In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in the almond powder and the cherry liqueur, mixing with a whisk. Blend the mixture with an immersion blender while hot.
Strain using a sieve placed over a large bowl. Let this mixture rest in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
To finish, after this resting time, strain once more. Add a drop of bitter almond extract, but definitely no more, to avoid overpowering the delicate flavor of this milk.
