Puff pastries with candied figs in maple syrup, a shaping that I really like as I have already made it with plums, apples, cherries, and in a savory version. Here I wanted to lightly candy my figs in the maple syrup, a delight in the mouth with this little fruit of the sun.

Today I offer you a recipe for chocolate pancakes. More specifically, these are cocoa pancakes, which give them a chocolate flavor and color. The pancakes are very fluffy, not too sweet, and well chocolatey – it’s a delight to serve for snack time or breakfast. You can serve them plain or drizzled with chocolate sauce, accompanied by spread and/or whipped cream, according to your tastes and desires.
The sun is back, and with it, the traditional family or friends picnics! It’s affordable, it’s delicious, and it’s social… and what could be better than a homemade sandwich? Everyone has their favorite filling, but there’s only one type of bread for all: ciabatta! (ciabatta is a white Italian bread with a high moisture content and olive oil)
If you forgot to remove the seeds like I did, you can take them out at the end of cooking as they will float to the surface. To remove them beforehand, you can boil them without cooking; the seeds will pop, and you can then remove them with a slotted spoon. You can also keep them, as they don’t necessarily interfere when eating fresh grapes, and they help to reduce bad cholesterol.
