My nephew asked me for a recipe for chicken wings. He loves them and would like to prepare them himself. I looked for a recipe that uses the oven, as it is, after all, healthier and lighter. The result was truly impressive! The chicken wings are very crispy on the outside and quite tender on the inside. They are so good! Perfect for an appetizer or a buffet, to share with family or friends.
In a small bowl, mix all the seasoning ingredients.
Using kitchen scissors, cut the chicken wings.
In a large freezer bag, pour in the yogurt and add 1 tablespoon of seasoning. Knead the bag well to mix. Add the chicken wings, seal the bag, and knead again to coat the chicken with the mixture.
Place the bag in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours to marinate the meat (16 hours for me). Set aside the remaining seasoning.
Once the meat is marinated, preheat the oven to 200°C, static heat. Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, cornmeal, and the remaining seasoning.
Pour half of this mixture into a large clean freezer bag (3L). Add the chicken wings on top. Pour the other half of the mixture into the bag. Seal it and massage the meat well to coat it on all sides.
Place the wings on the tray and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Bake and cook for 30 minutes. Then turn the wings and cook for another 15 minutes.
To finish, serve immediately. You can find the detailed recipe on my blog, along with many other delicious recipes.
