Discover this original appetizer idea: a cheese platter with pear mustard and roasted pumpkin seed oil.
Peel and chop the white onion. Pour a drizzle of olive oil into a pot and soften the white onion over low heat.
Peel the pears, cut them in half, remove the hard parts from the center, and cut them into pieces. Add them to the pot, pour in the cider, sugar, and sprinkle with spices and fleur de sel. Mix and let simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
To finish, pour in the pumpkin seed oil and add the pumpkin seeds, let it cook on very low heat for another 10 minutes. Pour into a clean jar, close it, and store in a cool place.
