 6 Leek
 2 Shallot
 2 Egg
 150 Milk
 90 Sour cream
 100 Gruyère cheese
 30 Semi-salted butter
 ½ Nutmeg
 Salt

Rinse the leeks and slice them into rounds. Chop the shallot. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Sauté the shallot for a few minutes, then add the leeks. Cook for about twenty minutes.

Preheat the oven to 170°C. Place the pastry in an ovenproof dish. Prick the bottom of the tart. In the same pan, add the milk, then the eggs and cheese. Mix everything together.

To finish, season with salt, pepper, and add nutmeg. Pour everything onto the pastry. Bake for 40 minutes.

    We just enjoyed the leek tart from your recipe, it was a real treat!! A small note, the oven preheating temperature is given, but not the cooking temperature, so I chose 190° for 30 minutes, and that was sufficient. Thank you for this recipe.

    I cooked the leeks with a bit of white wine, added 3 eggs, and replaced the cream with a cheese spread. The result was a delight. Will make it again!
