Discover my easy recipe for chicken nuggets, just like in the United States! Crispy and tender, these pieces of chicken coated in a mixture of eggs and flour (feel free to add corn flakes) will be perfect to delight the kids! And homemade nuggets are much better than fast food nuggets!
Preparation of the chicken: Blend the chicken breast with the cream and the egg white. Season with salt and pepper.
Making the nuggets On the work surface, lay out 20/25 cm of cling film (to create a rectangle) and place half of the filling on the lower part of the film (about 5 cm from the edge) along the entire length, leaving about 3/4 cm from the edges to be able to close the log on the sides. Roll the logs tightly to shape them and then seal the edges well. With the quantities, you will be able to make 2 logs.
Cooking: Place the sausages in the steamer basket and steam for 25 minutes.
Slice Let the sausages cool slightly, remove the plastic wrap, then cut them into slices of about 1.5 cm.
Addition of the coating In 3 shallow bowls, pour the flour, the 2 beaten whole eggs, and the breadcrumbs with a little paprika to add flavor. Coat the chicken slices by first dipping them in the flour, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs.
Cooking Heat some oil in a large skillet and brown the nuggets over low heat for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
