Today, Benjamin Roy shares with you his delicious recipe for Italian waffles with olive oil. Light and crispy, the chef recommends enjoying them dusted with powdered sugar, ground speculoos, or spread with chocolate-hazelnut paste, all topped with some crushed pistachios.
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar, then add the milk and olive oil.
Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt mixture to the dough while stirring.
Let rest for 1 hour.
Preheat the waffle maker.
Lightly grease and then pour in the mixture.
To finish, let it cook for about 3 minutes. Enjoy it warm without moderation!
