Today I propose a ham and bell pepper quiche. It is very easy and quick to prepare. Perfect for a dinner or a picnic, a buffet, etc. The bell peppers add a lot of flavor. You can also taste the cream well. For once, I didn't add any cheese :-. It was delicious.
Clean the peppers and cut them into strips.
Heat a sauté pan with olive oil. Add the bell peppers and cook for about ten minutes until they are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let cool.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan mode.
Prepare the mixture. In a bowl, mix the cream with the eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg using a whisk.
Roll out the puff pastry and line the tart pan, keeping its parchment paper.
Spread the bell peppers over the tart base, then add the strips of ham.
Pour over the mixture.
Bake and cook for 40 minutes or until the surface is golden brown.
To finish, serve warm or at room temperature.
