Watermelon Mint Ice Recipe

AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

These watermelon mint ice pops are made with 3 ingredients: a great alternative to store-bought ice creams, less sweet and very refreshing. You can make a good amount in advance to ensure you have them on hand when the hot weather arrives.

Yields6 Servings
Prep Time10 mins
Ingredients
 ½ Watermelon
 5 Fresh mint
 90 Sugar
Directions
1

Scoop out the inside of the watermelon and place it in a bowl or blender. Blend the flesh until you achieve a soup-like consistency.

2

Add the sugar along with the finely chopped mint leaves. Pour the mixture into the ice cube molds.

3

Place them in the freezer for 1 hour; they should have slightly solidified: you will be able to insert the sticks in the center. Let them set for at least another 3 hours. It's ready!

4

To finish, take them out 10 minutes before serving so that they can be easily unmolded.
