Beef shank is a part of the beef leg, very tender and flavorful. It is perfect for cooking in a Dutch oven. Here is a recipe for beef shank in a Dutch oven, relatively quick to prepare and share with family or friends.  1 Beef shank
 300 Button mushroom
 3 Carrot
 1 Onion
 1 clove Garlic
 Olive oil
 1 Thyme
 1 Rosemary
 Salt
 Pepper
 10 Water

Seasoning the meat. Salt and pepper the shank cut into pieces.

Cooking Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil.

Add the pieces of shank to brown them for a few minutes on all sides.

Add the chopped carrots, thyme, and rosemary. Pour in 100 ml of water.

Simmer for 20 minutes.

Finally, add the cut mushrooms and simmer again for 20 minutes.
