Ginger ale is a carbonated drink flavored with ginger. Easy and quick to prepare, here is a recipe for homemade ginger ale.
Peel and slice the ginger into thin rounds.
Boil the water, sugar, ginger, and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Allow to cool to room temperature.
Transfer the mixture into a bottle that seals with a stopper.
Add the ginger bug (only the juice). Close the bottle.
To finish, let it ferment at room temperature for 2-3 days. Remember to release the gas from the mixture every day. The ginger ale is ready when it is nice and fizzy.
