Yields6 Servings
Ingredients
 2 Egg
 1 pinch Salt
 6 Sugar
 6 Flour
 6 Milk
 5 Water
 Butter
 Cherry (or any other fruit)
 1 Vanilla sugar
Directions
1

Clean the cherries. Butter and flour the dish. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture turns pale. Gradually incorporate the flour (3 tablespoons at a time, it creates fewer lumps!) and the milk little by little.

3

Mix the fruits so that they are coated with the batter. Pour into the dish and sprinkle with small pieces of butter.

4

Preheat the oven. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes according to your taste (longer if you are using frozen cherries as they release water). Lower the oven temperature to 180°C halfway through baking to prevent it from darkening too quickly.

5

To finish, take it out of the oven. Sprinkle with sugar, let it cool slightly, and enjoy!

Rather proud of the result, even though the cake didn't look impressive when it came out of the oven, it was very good!
