For Easter lunch, we have an astonishing recipe for slow-cooked lamb shanks with spices and orange. Perfect for a festive meal that stands out!
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Peel the onions and garlic and chop them roughly, peel the ginger and cut it finely.
Mix all these ingredients with the spices, teriyaki sauce, honey, and orange juice. Season with fresh ground pepper. Add warm water and mix everything together.
To finish, cut the oranges into wedges. Place the lamb shanks in a baking dish, add the orange wedges, and pour the mixture over them. Bake for one hour. Lower the oven to 150°C and continue cooking for another hour, regularly basting the meat.
