For festive appetizers, there's no need to break the bank... proof of this is that I made this recipe with canned sardines, and the result is amazing.
Blend the sardines with a little of their sauce, 3 tablespoons of almond powder, and the leaves from a small bunch of coriander.
Put the flour in a bowl, crack and beat the egg in another bowl, and place the breadcrumbs in a shallow plate.
Shape the mixture into balls; coat them in flour, then dip them in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
Finally, dip them in frying oil to brown them. Place them on a paper towel. Serve them with some aromatic herbs.
