 6 Goose or chicken egg
 1 Milk
 125 Sugar
 1 clove Vanilla

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Heat the milk in a saucepan with the split vanilla bean and sugar.

Slowly pour the milk over the beaten eggs, gradually and stirring constantly to avoid cooking the eggs.

To finish, pour into a buttered baking dish and cook for at least 1 hour in a water bath until the top is golden.

    This flan is delicious. You just need to know that with goose eggs, it's much more flavorful. It gives the impression of a heartier flan. We really enjoyed it!

    Very good recipe, simple and not too sweet, just what is needed. Thank you for this recipe which I followed exactly for the proportions, but instead of vanilla, I added a few drops of coffee extract and it was very good. The cream, once cooled, holds its shape well. I will make it again! (Perhaps with other flavors?...) to experiment.
