Yogurt Verrine with Limoncello Soaked Cake and Pear

AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Hello everyone! Here is my favorite lunch: an enhanced yogurt! Yes, I know, it's a bit simple for a meal, but I have a good breakfast, I have my 10 AM snack, and when my husband comes back around 5 PM, I have my afternoon snack, and then we always end the day with a nice dinner, often with a little appetizer! And with my yogurt, I also often treat myself to a dessert, haha!

Yields1 Serving
Prep Time5 mins
Ingredients
 1 Pear
 1 Pear yogurt (or plain)
Directions
1

Peel and dice the pear. Drain 2 pieces of cake soaked in liqueur and cut them into cubes. In a large glass, arrange a layer of cake cubes at the bottom, cover with half of the diced pear. Pour in the pear yogurt and finish with the remaining diced pear. Garnish with chocolate pearls and some chocolate twigs. Set aside until serving or enjoy immediately!

To finish, note: I used a pear yogurt. Let's just say it's mainly because I had a pear yogurt that I came up with this recipe! A plain yogurt with a bit of syrup or sugar will work perfectly.
