Waste-free Pops Cake Recipe

AuthorCategoryDifficultyBeginner

Have you ever seen those beautiful balls that look like lollipops but are made from cake? The perfect way to salvage a cake or a poorly unmolded dessert (that's what happened to me...).

Yields4 Servings
Prep Time15 mins
Ingredients
 50 spreadable paste
 100 chocolate
 10 liquid cream 30
 chocolate pearls
Directions
1

Blend the cake and transfer to a bowl. Add the spread, mix well, and shape into a log.

2

Take slices to make balls of about 18g.

3

Insert a lollipop stick and store in the fridge for 30 minutes.

4

Make the ganache by melting the chocolate. Add the cream in three batches while stirring vigorously. Dip the balls in the ganache and cover with chocolate pearls or meringue crumble.

5

Keep in the fridge or help yourself!

6

To finish, note: You can dip the balls in melted chocolate instead of ganache. You can also make the pops with a store-bought cake; it's always a fun activity to do with the kids! Not to mention they will have a great time!!
