Boil the milk. Beat the eggs and incorporate the condensed milk. Add the hot milk and the shredded coconut. Mix.
Line the bottom of a mold with caramel. Fill the mold with the milk-coconut mixture.
To finish, bake in a water bath and cook for about 1 hour at 180°C. When the surface is nicely golden, it's time to take it out of the oven. Let it cool. Serve topped with caramel if desired.
