Recipe suggested by a specialty retailer of Trappist beers and monastic products. You can use any brown beer you find, but Trappist beers will best enhance the flavor of your pancakes!
Mix in a bowl: melted butter, milk, eggs, then flour, sugar, and salt. Whisk vigorously.
Add the trappist beer to the container gradually (while whisking vigorously in the same direction).
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
In a hot pan, melt a little butter. Then, pour a ladle of batter into it.
Cook for 1 minute on one side (until the pancake is nicely golden), then 30 seconds on the other side.
To finish, serve sweet with jam, chocolate, caramel, sugar…
