I'm sharing my foolproof recipe for a savory onion tart. This grandmother-style tart is a must-have in summer, perfect for a picnic or a meal with friends or family. It is very quick and easy to prepare and can also be made with tomatoes and without anchovies.

 500 Flour
 1 Water (the amount of a mustard glass)
 1 Olive oil
 1 Baking powder
 1 Egg
 1 Fresh onion
 Olives
 Anchovies
 Salt
 Pepper

Preparation of the onions. Slice the onions. Sauté and brown in a pan with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Let cool.

Preparation of the dough In a bowl: mix the flour and the yeast (sift if possible). Make a well, add the glass of water and the glass of oil. Beat the egg and incorporate it into the mixture. Mix until you obtain a smooth dough.

Assembly Preheat the oven to 250°C or gas mark 7 (10 minutes). In a pie dish, spread the pastry. Prick the pastry with a fork. A little tip: drizzle some olive oil once the pastry is pricked, spread the lightly caramelized onions on the pastry. Add the olives and anchovies.

Cook for 20 minutes in the oven.
