Today I offer you a delicious ham quiche, perfect as a starter or a light meal. A thick quiche, just like in a restaurant. It is very creamy and super tasty.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan mode.
Prepare the mixture. In a bowl, whisk together the cream with the eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until a smooth texture is achieved.
Roll out the puff pastry and line a 24 cm round cake pan with removable sides, keeping its parchment paper. Fold it in certain places to make it fit. The pastry should rise over the edges. If the pastry is too soft, place the pan in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Spread the grated cheese over the bottom, then add the strips of ham on top.
Pour over the mixture.
Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
After cooking, let the quiche sit in the oven for 20 minutes with the door wide open. Then unmold.
To finish, wait another 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
