Preparation of sweet potatoes Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them finely. Place them in a saucepan, cover with milk, and season with salt and pepper.
Cooking: Add the nutmeg, chopped garlic, and a pinch of ginger, and let the sweet potatoes cook over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
Assembly Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to place the sweet potatoes in a previously buttered baking dish. Reduce the cooking liquid of the sweet potatoes by half over heat.
