For about thirty palm pastries. Easy recipe to make with children.
Sprinkle sugar on the work surface. Roll out the dough on top (if you chose block dough, roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm).
Sprinkle sugar on top of the dough.
Fold the edges inward, rolling them towards the center. You will get a log.
Chill the dough for a while so it hardens (cutting will be easier).
Cut the sausage into slices 0.5 to 1 cm thick.
To finish, place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a buttered tray and bake for 20 minutes at 180-190°C (thermostat 6/7). Flip the pastries halfway through baking to ensure they brown evenly on both sides.
