Prep Time10 minsCook Time25 minsTotal Time35 mins
Ingredients
 8 Beautiful carrot
 3 Olive oil
 Garlic powder
 Thyme
 Flaky sea salt
 Pepper
Directions
1

Take an extra carrot, put on a shiny pointy hat... and you are officially named "The Good Carrot Fairy"! Preheat your oven to 210°C. Place a baking sheet on a baking tray. Perfect, the equipment is ready, let’s move on to the carrots. Start a timer... DING, let's go! Wash your carrots thoroughly and cut them lengthwise into 4 or 6 pieces (depending on the thickness of the carrot) to make large carrot fries.

2

Place them skin side down on the baking sheet. Pour your oil into a small bowl and, using a brush, lightly coat the carrot fries with the oil. A quick glance at the timer... Sprinkle garlic powder over the carrots, then add thyme, and finish with sea salt and pepper. TIMER... so little time!

3

And into the oven they go! Your roasted carrots will cook at 210°C for 20 to 30 minutes. To make sure they are cooked, pierce them with the tip of a knife; your carrots should be tender. You can serve them with a nice ribeye... a treat!

To finish, so what about the carrot fairy? Wouldn't we also be the time fairy? Find all my recipes on my blog. See you soon!

It's extraordinary. I've never eaten cooked carrots that are so flavorful; I can never eat them any other way again. Thank you for this recipe.

Thank you for this original recipe! I was wondering about the cooking process; should I use the convection setting or the broil setting, or both, and at what height should I place the baking tray? Thank you!

Simple but very effective, I didn't know this way of eating carrots, I actually added a herb bouquet instead of just thyme and it's delicious!
