Place all the ingredients except the strawberries in a small saucepan.
Bring everything to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring regularly.
Meanwhile, rinse the strawberries under clear water, remove the stems, then cut half of them into small cubes. Cut the rest in half or into quarters depending on their size.
Add the diced strawberries 5 minutes before the end of the rice cooking.
